Bathroom Trends ~ Get The Look

*ad

If you’ve been following me on Instagram you’ll know I’ve recently renovated my bathroom. I spent months researching current trends, products and materials. There were many moodboards and samples (which I loved compiling) as there were so many decisions to be made. Whilst I was on my search for wall covering options, I came across these amazing innovative panels by Showerwall.

Showerwall easy-to-fit bathroom wall panels, featured above in Navy Subway, have the power to transform your bathroom in half the time of tiling. These versatile sheets are made from hard-wearing materials that deliver a watertight finish that’s tough, stain resistant and easy to clean.

Showerwall has a solid, grout-free surface eliminating hiding places for mould, dirt or germs. A hygienic and wipe-clean solution. So easy to clean, which is a massive plus for those damper conditions.

Showerwall’s waterproof panels can be fitted either in a shower, behind a bath or as a splashback for sinks. There are 80 different designs and finishes, such as this Subway Blush design above.

Think big bold trendy designs such as flowers, marble and geometric patterns that closely follow current trends. They can also be supplied in various finishes such as Acrylic, Gloss, Matt and even textured.

If you’re after something slightly more bespoke, there is even an option to create personalised wall panels, like these above, featuring a favourite holiday photo or piece of art. The choice is vast.

3 Top Bathroom Trends

Going Green

The claiming hues of green have been popping up in bathrooms all over the world of late. The Jungalow trend has seen verdant colours inspired by luscious leafy plants that thrive in wet spaces. The period look of the Showerwall subway green panel has been paired with a gold finished Victorian Shower Mixer Bath Tap and a stunning freestanding bath. I’ve styled these items up with bold monochrome accessories, trailing plants and rattan lanterns.

Pretty in Pink

Pastels have been hitting the highstreets for a while now. All shades of pretty pinks have been featured on front doors, kitchen cabinets and it won’t surprise to know pink is now huge on the bathroom scene. I’ve featured this Showerwall Panel in Scallop Blush and paired it with gold hardware and accents that go beautifully with the ombre selection of bath mats that can also be an inspiration for coordinating paint colours.

Boldly Go

Big, bold, colourful patterns are making a massive resurgence in our homes since the pandemic. Many people want to feel happy and bright in their now much-used homes. This Pineapple Showerwall design just shouts fun! It’s been fitted above inky panelling to create a striking contrast. I’ve picked out a rainbow of trendy products that complement this theme perfectly. Never be afraid to mix patterns if you like them. But, if that isn’t your thing, then try using one or two tones from the pattern that you’re featuring, such as yellow from the pineapples like I’ve shown here.

Until next time,
