The Snuggle is Real

Now, don’t get me wrong, I adore the front door of my Victorian terrace. My little blue beauty gets thousands of likes on Instagram, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. However, once open, the actual gap to bring furniture through is a mere 70cm.

Nineteen years ago, two chunky leather sofas were (literally) squeezed through the door (It was a very stressful morning I can tell you!) and they’ve been in my living room ever since.

That was until I discovered Snug Shack. I’d been on the search for a slightly longer sofa and an oversized chair for some time. But, due the size of nearly all the couches I liked, taking a risk that the furniture wouldn’t get through the door just wasn’t an option.

So, what’s different about a Snug Shack sofa you might ask? The answer: it comes in a box! and therefore, can fit through pretty much any door.

A sofa in a box I hear you cry, surely that can’t be comfy!? Well, I can confirm, as I type this blog piece from the comfort of my snuggly new sofa, that they are indeed super-duper comfy.

After attending a press event, and visiting their local showroom, I lived with the swatches for a week, placing them on the arms of my existing sofas, until I could decide on the colour for my new couches. All Snug Shack sofas and footstools are upholstered with stain resistant, easy care fabric. There are four options available: A striking Navy velvet, and three colours in a super soft easy care polyester – Teal, Mid-grey and Coral Blush. You can order swatches for free.

There are also two options on the mid-century style leg finish: Natural Wood or Black. I went for the Natural Wood legs, Mid Grey Sofa and Footstool and Navy Velvet Snuggler. I’m truly thrilled with all three pieces of furniture.

What’s even better, is that the furniture is delivered within three working days and can be assembled for you in your home or you can do it yourself in minutes. I wanted to see just how easy it was, watch the video above to prove that it does in fact take minutes! No screws or tools, just all slots together. I’ll be painting the living room soon, it’s so handy that I’ll easily be able to take them apart, and stack them up in my other reception room. Great idea for if you’re moving home.

I really like the fact that Snug Shack offer a 30-day trial period for you to decide in your own time, what a great idea! After all, buying a sofa is a huge thing, just think of how many hours you and the family actually sit on it.

The whole family (cats included!) have been enjoying cosy evenings on our new sofas, we’re all over the moon with them.

Snug Shack have recently launched their very own Snug-tastic Modular range, allowing you to make a sofa as big or small as you like, from a generous 1.5 seater Snuggler all the way up to a huge L shape corner unit. How fab is that? What’s even better, is that if we move I can add bits on to my new sofas to create a new shape.

To Celebrate the fact that I’ve just hit 70,000 followers on my Instagram account @littlehouseinlondon, I’ve teamed up with Snug Shack to offer one lucky person the chance to win their very own Snuggler chair. At 1.5m in width its the cosiest ever! Click here to enter. (Ends Monday 11th Nov at midnight, t&c’s apply)

I hope you like my new furniture as much as I do?

Until next time,

Amy x
